Day 10 Whittier Anchorage

Although just 60 miles from Anchorage, Whittier feels a world apart. This small, secluded town, accessible only by land through the two-mile-long Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel, is nestled between towering mountain peaks and the Passage Canal. Founded as a military base during World War II, Whittier is now your gateway to the remarkable Prince William Sound. Its rugged coastlines and waterways are home to a variety of wildlife, including bears, mountain goats, Dall sheep, whales, sea lions, otters, and more. On disembarkation day, unleash your inner explorer with outdoor activities or enjoy a scenic boat tour through the sound's breathtaking beauty.

After disembarking from Norwegian Jade, a coach transfer from the Whittier Cruise Terminal to Anchorage is provided, followed by the rest of the day at leisure. Day 11 Anchorage Seward | Alaska Railroad

Transfer to Anchorage train station independently this morning. Depart on a 4-hour scenic train journey along Cook Inlet and into the glacier filled Kenai Mountains. Rest of day is at leisure in Seward. Visit the Alaska SeaLife Centre, take a kayaking tour or a trip to Exit Glacier.

Day 12 Seward

Today, enjoy a 6-hour cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park. The park boasts abundant wildlife, alpine and tidewater glaciers, and breathtaking scenery. Watch for Stellar Sea Lions, seals, puffins, eagles, and whales. You will stop in front of the glacier to hear it moving and possibly see ice fall into the ocean.

Day 13 Seward Talkeetna

Depart mid-morning on your scheduled coach transfer to Talkeetna, with a 90-minute stop in Anchorage providing time to purchase lunch. You will arrive in Talkeetna in the afternoon, and the evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 14 Talkeetna Denali

Spend most of the day at leisure in Talkeetna, where you can explore the charming downtown with its unique shops and local eateries, or visit the Talkeetna Historical Society Museum for a glimpse into the town’s history. Adventure seekers can enjoy a flightseeing tour to Denali or hike nearby trails, while those seeking relaxation can stroll along the Susitna River or unwind with a locally brewed beer at a riverside brewery. In the afternoon, depart on your scheduled coach transfer to Denali.

Discover Denali National Park on a narrated bus tour. This tour is approx. 4-6 hours long and takes you approx. 30 to 43 miles into the park (depending on weather and road conditions). Can you book my international airfares?

On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.

However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.

We found that many customers may prefer to:

Travel on a specific airline of their choice
Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
Use their travel agent for this service

We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.
