Day 1 Palermo
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for the check-in.

Day 2 Palermo
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a morning visit of Palermo with a local guide: walking in the pedestrian area of the historical centre of city, one of the largest in Europe, you will see the beautiful Martorana Church, Piazza Bellini, Piazza Pretoria, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the ancient “Cassaro” and the Palatine Chapel inside the Norman Palace. You will then have the chance to taste Palermo’s street food at a typical local market.
In the afternoon, continue your visit of the city with a unique experience in Palermo’s planetary garden. You'll explore the Museum of Puppets, a celebration of puppetry with a global collection and Sicilian puppets, the Church of Santa Maria dello Spasimo, a unique 16th-century church, and the Botanical Garden, a green sanctuary featuring rare plant species from around the world, overseen by the Goddess Flora.

Day 3 Palermo
After breakfast at the hotel, the morning is yours to stroll down the historic centre of Palermo.
Alternatively, you can add an optional half day tour to Monreale with a local guide. Monreale is a small town perched on a hill few kilometres from Palermo and its Cathedral is one of the most beautiful monuments in Europe.
In the afternoon, enjoy a unique experience: visit Palermo "from above": a walking tour along the historical centre, with entrances to the tops of the city's most beautiful buildings, with a final tasting in one of its most elegant terraces. Aperitif and dinner at a local restaurant positioned in panoramic position included.

Day 4 Palermo Mazara del Vallo
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Mazara del Vallo, a small fishers' town in the south-western side of Sicily: its ancient hystorical centre hosts many monumental churches and it features an Islamic architecture, with the typical tiny streets of the arab Kasbah. Visit to the archaeological museum, with the famous “Satiro Danzante” (Dancing Satyr) statue. You will then have a couscous cooking lesson, followed by lunch with the prepared dishes.

Day 5 Mazara del Vallo Agrigento
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Agrigento.
Along the way, you will briefly stop at Eraclea Minoa and the enchanting Scala dei Turchi (The Turkish Steps): Eraclea Minoa was an ancient greek town and Roman colony; Scala dei Turchi is a unique site by the sea, with mesmerising white rocks erosed by time and the continuing movement of the waves.
Then, the afternoon will be focused on the visit of the majestic Valley of the Temples, UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for the many Greek temples it hosts, of which the Temple of Concoria is the best preserved one.

Day 6 Agrigento Piazza Armerina Catania
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and departure to Piazza Armerina: upon arrival, you will visit the amazing Villa Romana del Casale, yet another UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for the outstandingly preserved mosaics representing hunting, mythological and daily-life scenes of the Roman period.
Free time for Lunch (own expenses).
In the afternoon, continue to Catania, the second largest city of Sicily. After checking in, begin a walking tour of the hystorical centre, visiting the beautiful Cathedral and the famous Via Etnea.

Half day excursion to Monreale (private car and local guide).
Monreale is a small town, situated on a hill at few kms far from Palermo in panoramic position; the Cathedral is one of the most beautiful monuments of the world with its Moorish architecture, housing very fine mosaics representing a complete cycle of the Old and New Testaments. Then visit the cloister.

Day 7: Full day Etna & Taormina with wine tasting & light lunch on Etna
Excursion to Mount Etna, the highest active Volcano in Europe. Weather conditions permitting, across fascinating landscape with different kind of vegetation, a mixture of citrus groves, vineyards and fruit trees. We will reach a height of 1800 metres to visit the Sylvester Craters where we’ll enjoy a spectacular panorama over the Ionian Sea. Stop at a local vineyard on the eastern slopes of Etna and visit a prestigious cellar . We will have the opportunity to taste different local wines accompanied by local cheese and cold cuts.
Continue to Taormina, the most famous Sicilian town, known as the “pearl of the Mediterranean Seawhere you will visit the town with the greek theatre, the Cathedral, Palazzo Corvaja. Return to Catania
