Day 1 Seville Jerez
On the first day, travellers will be welcomed in a Hotel of Seville (exact hotel to be confirmed in 2025) at approximately 10:00 a.m. The day begins with a visit to the capital of Andalusia, renowned for having the largest historic center in Spain. Following lunch, a panoramic view of the city awaits, along with a tour of the iconic Plaza de España. Later, guests will board the Al Andalus Train, where a welcome toast will be offered, and the crew introduced. Dinner will be served on board as the train journeys to Jerez, where guests will spend the night.
Day 2 Jerez Cadiz Jerez
On the second day, following breakfast, guests will embark on a journey by coach to explore Cadiz, affectionately known as the "Tacita de Plata" and renowned as one of the oldest cities in the Western world. Guests will have the opportunity to visit and immerse themselves in the charm of Cadiz, with some free time to explore at leisure. Lunch will be provided. In the afternoon, you'll return to Jerez, where guests will have free time to enjoy the surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Jerez.
Day 3 Jerez Ronda
After breakfast, guests will commence the day with a visit to a sherry wine cellar, followed by a captivating performance of "How the Andalusian Horses Dance," a renowned equestrian ballet set to Spanish music. Lunch will be served onboard as you journey towards Ronda. In the evening, guests will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in Ronda, where they'll also spend the night.
Day 5 Cordoba Úbeda Baeza Granada
After enjoying breakfast on board, you'll begin your exploration in Cordoba with a visit to the Mosque-Cathedral. Continuing your journey, we'll delve into the history of the former capital of the emirate and the medieval caliphate of Al Andalus, which at its peak became the largest, most cultured, and opulent city in Western Europe. Lunch will be served on board as you travel to Linares-Baeza station, where you will visit UNESCO World Heritage Cties of Úbeda and Baeza, including a visit to an olive oil mill (Almazara) and a tasting. In the evening, as you dine, you'll arrive in Granada for an overnight stay.
Day 6 Granada
Following breakfast, explore one of Spain's most visited monuments: the magnificent palace complex constructed by the Nasrid rulers of the Kingdom of Granada, known as the Alhambra. (Please note that the opening hours of the Alhambra may vary depending on factors such as group size, language availability, and authorisations from the palace complex authorities). Lunch will be provided. In the afternoon, exploration of Granada will continue. The day concludes with dinner and the night in Granada.
Day 4 Ronda Cordoba
Following breakfast, guests will explore Ronda, known for its breathtaking location perched on a plateau overlooking the deep Tajo de Ronda gorge, through which the Guadalevín River flows. Lunch will be served onboard as the train travels towards Cordoba. Upon arrival, embark on a guided tour of Cordoba, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Cordoba.
Day 7 Granada
On the seventh and final day, after relishing your last breakfast on board, bid farewell to the train and its crew. Take a final tour of Granada, including lunch. The trip concludes around 4:00 p.m.

Upgrade availableThe Al Ándalus Train offers two types of accommodation:
The Grand-Class Room: A cosy room with a private bathroom. It features two single beds that become comfortable armchairs during the day, as well as a minibar, safe, wardrobe, luggage closet, and adjustable air-conditioning. Its functional private bathroom makes good use of space, featuring a shower, hairdryer, and a varied set of welcome items and toiletries. There are 12 Grand-Class Rooms.

Deluxe Suite
The Deluxe Suite on the Al Ándalus Train is a spacious and elegant accommodation comprising a bedroom and a private bathroom, designed for ultimate relaxation and privacy. It boasts a generous double bed measuring 200x150cm, which transforms into a comfortable sofa during the day. The bathroom is roomy and comfortable, featuring a shower, hairdryer, and a selection of complimentary toiletries for guests' convenience. Modern amenities such as a safe, minibar, wardrobe, luggage closet, and adjustable air-conditioning blend seamlessly with the historic train's original charm. A total of 20 Deluxe Suites are available onboard.
In addition, Deluxe Suites also include:
- All non-alcoholic beverages in the Suite at no extra charge
- The crew provides a service to pack and unpack guests' bags - as well as organise their clothing
- Upon request, the bed in the sleeping compartment can be converted between bed-night mode and sofa-day mode.

What is the dress code onboard the train?
The atmosphere on board is one of relaxed nature. During the day dress for relaxed comfort for onboard the train and when embarking on excursions. We suggest wearing durable shoes for excursions, and please be prepared for change of weather. In the evening, guests have the option to choose a more formal outfit.
Which drinks are available aboard the train?
Complimentary wine, beer, soft drinks, tea, and coffee are provided during mealtimes. Outside of mealtimes, the lounge cars offer guests various options to purchase soft drinks, juices, tea, coffee, and water. Additionally, a thoughtfully curated menu of alcoholic beverages is available for purchase, encompassing wines, beers, and spirits, ensuring passengers can enjoy a delightful and refreshing experience while traveling onboard.
Is there Wi-Fi onboard the train?
The Al Ándalus Train offers Wi-Fi access in its lounges, along with a computer available for passengers to use for browsing the Internet, checking emails, and more. (Please note that the connection is subject to operator coverage.)
Can special dietary preferences be requested?
Provided a detailed request has been made at time of booking – special dietary requirements, such as vegetarian and adhering to religious requirements, may be arranged.
Will I need to tip the train staff?
Gratuities for staff and guides are at the passenger’s discretion.
Is there air conditioning on board?
Onboard air-conditioning is provided, with individual control available for cabin air conditioning.
What is the luggage allowance for travelling guests onboard the train?
For ease while on board the train, it is recommended to utilise a travel bag or soft suitcase. Nevertheless, two large suitcases per room can be accommodated in the Suites, with staff onboard to help with loading the luggage.
Is it possible for individuals with mobility limitations to participate in the journey?
While the train has been renovated and features state-of-the-art technologies, it remains a historic and vintage train, lacking interior adaptations for wheelchair or walking frame access. Consequently, these trains are not considered accessible. However, individuals with reduced mobility who rely solely on wheelchair support outside the train can embark on the journey, provided they are accompanied by a companion to help.
Is smoking permitted onboard?
In Spain, smoking is not allowed in enclosed public spaces, including public transport or collective transport vehicles. Consequently, in compliance with existing regulations, travellers are prohibited from smoking while on board. It's important to note that train journeys typically do not exceed 3-4 hours.
Will I need travel insurance?
