This package will take you to two of the most beautiful locations in New Caledonia: Isle of Pines, also known as the "Jewel of the Pacific" for its tall pine trees and white sandy beaches, and Noumea, the capital city of New Caledonia. You will soon understand why Isle of Pines is often referred to as the "Closest Island to Paradise" once you arrive!

Day 1 Airport Chateau Royal Beach Resort and Spa

Arrive at Tontouta International Airport where our representative will welcome and escort you to your transfer to Chateau Royal Beach Resort and Spa located a 40-minute drive from the airport. The rest of the day is yours for leisure.

You can relax in one of the amenities of the resort, the Aquatonic® pool. It is a luxurious spa pool designed for relaxation, well-being, and fitness. An aquatic labyrinth made up of two 32°C and 34°C pools includes specific water massages zones such as jet baths, currents and counter-currents, bubble baths, shower massage loungers and chairs, and so on, which massage different parts of the body with varying shower intensity and positioning. In addition to the Aquatonic® pool, the resort offers a wide range of spa treatments, including massages and body and facial treatments (extra costs apply).

Spend a relaxing morning at Chateau Royal Beach Resort and Spa. Once you have checked out of the hotel, our representative will be there to transfer you to the Magenta Domestic Airport, which is less than a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Enjoy a pleasant flight taking in the breathtaking view of the beautiful New Caledonia islands from above. From there, our hotel representative will transfer you to the magnificent Le Meridien Isle of Pines, which will be your home for the next few days.

Le Meridien Isle of Pines serves a hearty breakfast as part of your package, so get the day started right. Observe the waters of Oro Bay while dining at La Pirogue. After breakfast, you can make yourself feel at home by enjoying the blue waters of the infinity pool or relaxing at the Deep Nature Spa, which is available at an additional cost.

Take in your last glimpses of the stunning island of Isle of Pines this morning before heading back to Noumea. Enjoy a pleasant flight taking in the breathtaking view of New Caledonia islands from above. Our representative will be waiting to transfer you to Chateau Royal Beach Resort and Spa.

Spend the afternoon at Chateau Royal Beach Resort and Spa perhaps relaxing by the pool. You can also go around Noumea as it is next to all bars, restaurants, and shopping areas, or you can discover the 2 restaurants, La Pirogue and L'Escale, and the 3 bars, L'Escale, Le Warai, and the pool bar overlooking the lagoon in Château Royal.

Can you book my international airfares?

On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.

However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.

We found that many customers may prefer to:

Travel on a specific airline of their choice
Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
Use their travel agent for this service

We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.

Should I take travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. During the Book Now process please confirm you require assistance, and our team will be in contact with you.

What should I do before travelling?

Before you travel it is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation including visas. If you are travelling on a passport other than Australian or New Zealand, you will require a permit to re-enter Australia. It is your responsibility as the traveller and/or travel booker to meet all government entry requirements.
