Day 1 Zagreb Airport Zagreb
You’ll be met at the airport in Zagreb and transferred to your hotel in Zagreb. Upon arrival, check in your accommodation, then the rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city centre on your own.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel.
Overnight stay in Zagreb at Hotel Astoria or similar.
Day 2 Zagreb Bled Ljubljana
Enjoy a breakfast at your hotel.
A morning sightseeing tour of Zagreb, Croatia's capital city, allows you to see the fortified Upper Town, the city's historical centre, St Mark's church with its multi-colored roof, the Cathedral, Croatian National Theatre, and the University.
The next stop is to depart to Bled, a small town in the Julian Alps that ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts. It's like a scene from a fairy tale, with mountains and forests surrounding an emerald glacial lake.
Dinner at the hotel is included.
Overnight stay in Ljubljana at Hotel Lev or similar.
Day 3 Ljubljana Bled Plitvice
After having breakfast, get ready and have a morning guided tour of Ljubljana. It is Slovenia's capital, where you will see the most significant sights of its old centre, including the picturesque Central Open-Air Market and the Three Bridges, the Baroque Town Hall, and Robba's Fountain. Visit to the Bled Castle, which is the oldest in Slovenia.
After Bled, we continue our journey to Plitvice lakes area for overnight and dinner.

Day 4 Plitvice Split
After breakfast, we will walk around Plitvice lakes, this well-known UNESCO World Heritage Site, natural beauty of the 16 crystal - blue lakes cascading into 92 spectacular waterfalls.
then, depart for Split. The guide will uncover the secrets of the UNESCO-protected Diocletian's Palace and its cellars to you this afternoon. During the Middle Ages, its new inhabitants altered the original palace, making it even more beautiful and what it is today: the city's living heart.
Enjoy dinner in the evening at the hotel.

Day 5 Split Dubrovnik
Departure to Dubrovnik after breakfast.
Along the way we visit one of the wine cellars on the Pelješac peninsula, where you will toast to your lovely day with a glass of the region's signature red wine Plavac Mali. Free time for lunch and sightessing of beautiful little town of Ston.
In the afternoon, take a city tour of Dubrovnik and its UNESCO World Heritage Site and Cathedral. Travel back in time to admire the once-famous maritime republic of Dubrovnik's noble palaces, fountains, and city walls.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel.

Day 6 Dubrovnik
Today is a free day. Excursions to the island of Korula or Montenegro and its Bay of Kotor are available as options (extra cost).

Day 7 Dubrovnik Mostar Sarajevo
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and depart for Mostar, the city of bridges, where visitors from the south get their first glimpse of the continent beyond. Take time to enjoy the sightseeing and have lunch.
The next stop is to depart for Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina's capital. Sarajevo is one of Europe's most historically interesting cities, a melting pot of different cultures, and a charming town. City tour of Sarajevo upon arrival.
In the evening, have dinner at your hotel.

Day 8 Sarajevo Belgrade
Depart early in the morning for Belgrade, Serbia's capital. Then a short stop in Zvornik, a charming little town on the Drina River in northeastern Bosnia.
Belgrade is where the Sava River meets the Danube. There are certain places in Belgrade that you must see and experience: streets, squares, monuments, parks, fountains, and archaeological sites are just a few examples and have given to be a cultural asset. Upon arrival, a guided tour of this beautiful city between two rivers famous for their sunsets.
Have dinner at the hotel.

Day 9 Belgrade Novi Sad Osijek/Vukovar
Delight yourself with breakfast at the hotel. The driver will pick you up and depart for Novi Sad, Serbia's second-largest city on the Danube River. Novi Sad's location at a true crossroads of the continent, and its history as a multinational commercial and transit centre, have endowed it with historical and cultural sights that even much larger cities struggle to match.
Following the guided tour of Novi Sad, we will proceed to Ilok. Taste wines in one of Croatia's most famous wine cellars, "Iloki Podrumi", followed by a traditional lunch.
On our way to Osijek, we will stop in Vukovar, the largest Croatian river port located at the confluence of the Vuka River in Danube. The town is also known as a symbol of the Croatian war for independence, as it arose from the ashes of the '90s into the proud city that it is today. Tour will end late in the afternoon.
Overnight stay in Osijek or Vukovar in a 4* hotel.
Day 10 Osijek/Vukovar Zagreb
Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. You will have your day with a city tour of Osijek, the largest city in eastern Croatia, beautifully situated on the banks of the Drava River. The city tour includes stops at the Cathedral and the Tvrdja (Old Fort). We continue our journey, and the first thing you notice when approaching Djakovo from either side is the brightness and beauty of the bricks of its Cathedral's two towers and cupolas.
The next stop is to depart for Zagreb, followed by a visit to one of the region's ethno villages for a tasty meal infused with local flavours.

Day 11 Zagreb Zagreb Airport
After a breakfast at the hotel, take a transfer to Zagreb airport. End of the tour.

Can you book my international airfares?
On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.
However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.
We found that many customers may prefer to:
- Travel on a specific airline of their choice
- Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
- Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
- Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
- Use their travel agent for this service
We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.
Should I take travel insurance?
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. During the Book Now process please confirm you require assistance, and our team will be in contact with you.
What should I do before travelling?
Before you travel it is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation including visas. If you are travelling on a passport other than Australian or New Zealand, you will require a permit to re-enter Australia. It is your responsibility as the traveller and/or travel booker to meet all government entry requirements.
